Empowering Educators as Designers: Teacher Agency and Affect with AI
A reflection of a 10 hours course designed to shift educators from just being instructors to being designers of learning experiences, which is what I have been practicing as I transferred corporate training and facilitation skills to education, what is new and powerful is the concept of 'Reflective Designers' which combines AI with affective science, with an AI tool (AILAP) that is trained in advising (counseling skills), PERMA framework of wellbeing, Self-Determination Theory (SDT) of learning, and Existential Positive Psychology (PP2.0).
